Famifarm Oy is a second-generation family business founded in 1987. At that time, the first greenhouse was built in the attic of the barn of the Järvikylä manor, which had belonged to the same family since 1674. Famifarm’s brand Järvikylä is Finland’s best-known and most respected vegetable brand, and its products are sold approximately 25 million units annually.
Famifarm’s clean, fresh herbs and salads grow in Eastern Finland. As the market leader and pioneer in the industry, Famifarm operates responsibly and develops new operating methods and products. One example of this is one of the largest vertical farms in Europe, which was opened in Juva in 2023. The company’s mission is to make it easy to eat delicious and healthy food: greenery improves every meal.
